Program 01

Education for Every Child

Every child deserves a seat in the classroom, a pencil in their hand, and a future full of possibility. Financial hardship should never be the reason a bright mind goes undiscovered. Our education program works to close that gap — one scholarship, one school, one child at a time.

Scholarship Awards

We identify and support bright, underprivileged children whose education is at risk due to financial hardship. Scholarships cover tuition fees, uniforms, and exam costs — removing every barrier we can.

Learning Materials & Equipment

We donate textbooks, stationery, school bags, and digital equipment to partner schools. Every child who enters our program leaves with the tools they need to participate fully in their learning.

School Infrastructure Support

Beyond the individual, we support the institutions that shape communities. We contribute to classroom improvements, sanitation facilities, and resource libraries at partner schools across Zimbabwe.

Migrant & Immigrant Assistance

Crossing a border is an act of hope. But hope alone doesn't navigate bureaucratic systems, secure legal status, or ease the loneliness of rebuilding life from scratch. We walk alongside migrants and immigrants every step of the way — ensuring their journey is met with dignity, guidance, and genuine human solidarity.

Legal & Social Guidance

We connect migrants and immigrants with experienced legal aid networks and provide direct guidance on residency permits, asylum processes, documentation, and the rights every person is entitled to — regardless of where they come from.

Humanitarian Aid

We provide immediate, practical support to those in urgent need: food, clothing, hygiene essentials, and emergency accommodation referrals. Nobody should go without basics while navigating an already difficult transition.

Integration Support

Settlement is just the beginning. We help newcomers integrate into Zimbabwean communities through language assistance, cultural orientation, and introductions to local support networks — so they don't just survive, but truly belong.

We don't work alone. We maintain active partnerships with legal aid organisations, NGOs, and community advocates across Zimbabwe to ensure every person we serve has access to a full ecosystem of support.

Community Upliftment

Strong communities don't happen by accident. They are built — through consistent presence, practical support, and the kind of collective care that refuses to leave the most vulnerable behind. Our community upliftment program is the heartbeat of La Patrona: wide-reaching, hands-on, and deeply rooted in the places we call home.

Seasonal Drives

We run seasonal drives for food, clothing, blankets, and essential household supplies — coordinated around peak need periods. Every drive is organised with care, ensuring dignity in how we receive, sort, and distribute donations.

Vulnerable Household Support

We identify and provide targeted, ongoing support to the most vulnerable households in our network — including elderly individuals, child-headed households, and families affected by illness, unemployment, or displacement.

Community Building

We host awareness campaigns, community clean-up events, and social gatherings that strengthen the social fabric of our neighbourhoods — because wellbeing is about more than material needs. Connection matters too.
